Cynthia has a diverse professional background spanning civil litigation, company law, and legal translation. She has worked in both private practice and in-house roles, bringing more than three years of practical legal experience to her work.

She began her legal career as an intern at the Beijing office of Baker McKenzie during her postgraduate studies. After passing the Chinese National Judicial Examination, she joined a leading Chinese law firm specializing in maritime and admiralty law, where she spent two years and qualified as a licensed attorney in Mainland China. In this role, she advised Maritime Safety Administrations, Rescue Bureau, and insurance companies, and gained hands-on experience in litigation, negotiations, and out-of-court settlements.

Cynthia later served as in-house counsel at a Chinese energy engineering company, where she worked on drafting and negotiating overseas EPC contracts, and further developed her expertise in construction and corporate law, as well as cross-border negotiation.

Cynthia is currently a Legal Assistant at the Law Offices of Lei, APC, where she is valued for her diligence, professionalism, and commitment to achieving the best outcomes for clients.
